Russ has been a former Chairman of the East Fishkill Republican Committee, President of the East Fishkill Republican Club and President and Director of the Dutchess County Pistol Association. He currently is a member of the East Fishkill Republican Committee and a founding Board Member and Trustee for the not-for profit Dutchess County 10-13 Foundation which helps law enforcement and their families in a time of need. Russ is your neighbor who knows the district and the people well. A strong defender of the Second Amendment, he has consistently fought for Republican/Conservative ideals in East Fishkill and has helped raise thousands of dollars for Republican candidates in East Fishkill and the county.

SHERRY METZGER

Sherry grew up in the Hillside Lake community. During that time she made life-long friendships with many of the people who live there. Growing up she helped on her family’s farm, which is located across the street from Hillside Lake. She currently works as an Environmental Technician for a local pump and tank company, she and her husband are small business owners, and she still continues to work at her family’s construction business. A tireless worker, Sherry will continue to bring that same work ethic to the East Fishkill Republican Committee. She is a great example of a hardworking committee member dedicated to keeping East Fishkill Republican strong.

A veteran of the United States Army, Sam has been a Republican since 1951. A former IBM engineer, Sam served as a member of the Wappingers School Board and was a two term Town Supervisor for East Fishkill. Sam has been on the East Fishkill Library Board for numerous years, a position he still holds. Sam is a pillar in this community. Someone who has fought hard for Republican candidates on a national and local level, Sam continues to fight for Republican values here in East Fishkill. He is one of the reasons why East Fishkill is a great place to live.

Tom has been a resident of Stormville for the past 45 years and is a pillar to the East Fishkill community. He has been a volunteer firefighter for the Town of East Fishkill Fire District for 51 years and still remains active! He held the title of Chief of the Stormville Fire Company for 6 years and Chief in the East Fishkill Fire District for 4 years. Not only is Tom a member or the East Fishkill Republican Committee, he is also the 2nd Vice President of the East Fishkill Republican Club. Tom has volunteered countless hours to Republican candidates here in East Fishkill by attending and helping at all fundraising events.

Marianne Wood has been an East Fishkill Republican Committee member for 30 years and member of the East Fishkill Republican Club. Marianne has been a special educator for 33 years, with multiple Master Degrees and a Doctor of Education from St. John’s University. A parishioner of St. Columba Church, Marianne has worked over the years on many local, county and state Republican campaigns. She has proven to be an important member of the East Fishkill Republicans and is dedicated to Conservative/Republican ideals that stress smaller more responsible government.

Keri is a small business owner in East Fishkill, SECONNY – Special Education Consulting NY. A former Chief of Staff and Campaign manager to Assemblyman Joel Miller, a member of the Poughkeepsie Women’s Republican Club (currently their Parliamentarian) and a member of the East Fishkill Republican Committee since 2010. A former Girl Scout Troop leader, Gayhead Elementary School PTA President and Taconic Region PTA Health and Safety Chair, Keri remains very active in our community as a member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and by supporting strong Republican candidates locally and on the county level.

A resident of District 8, Bob is a retired Officer in the United States Army and has worked in the Reagan White House, on the NYS Senate Staff, as Chief of Staff for a US Congressman, in the East Fishkill Republican Club and on the East Fishkill Republican Committee. Bob is a strong supporter of Republicans locally and in the county. A vocal and tireless worker who is committed to Conservative/Republican ideals of smaller, responsible government, Bob commits countless hours to making sure East Fishkill remains a strong Republican, safe and clean town.

JOHN AMICO

John A

John was born in the Bronx moved to East Fishkill in 1980. He works for Verizon where he’s been since 1991. Married in 1989, he and his wife raised two children. He is recently widowed in 2011 and is a Bereavement Group Facilitator at St. Kateri. John can always be seen at Republican fundraisers working the kitchen. A Committee person for over 30 years, John is one of the reasons why East Fishkill remains a strong Republican town.

Tom is a 16 year resident of East Fishkill who has been fighting hard for local and County Republicans. Tom joined the Republican Club in 2008 and shortly became a member of the East Fishkill Republican Committee. Tom was formerly President of the East Fishkill Republican Club and has helped raise thousands of dollars for local Republican candidates. In 2013 Tom was elected East Fishkill Councilman. Tom is currently the Chairman of Dutchess County 10-13 Foundation which aids law enforcement. Tom is fighting hard to ensure East Fishkill keeps taxes low, provides quality services, has a strong police force and remains a strong Republican town.

Additionally while raising a family and having a full time job, Tom graduated from Marist College with a Bachelors in Political Science in 2006 and received his Masters in Public Policy from New England College in 2009.

JOHN HUTSKO

John retired from IBM with 43 years in management, engineering, safety and as a tool and model maker. Since his retirement, he has increased his community service exponentially. He is currently the Our Lady of Lourdes High School Warrior Club Board Secretary, an East Fishkill Planning Board member, East Fishkill Election Coordinator for the Dutchess County Board of Elections, East Fishkill Republican Committee and Club member, a founding Board member of the Dutchess County 10-13 Foundation, which aids members of law enforcement and their families in Dutchess County and a Board member of the Friends of the East Fishkill Community Library. John countless hours of volunteerism and professional approach to everything he does makes him one of the most important members of the East Fishkill Republican Committee. John Chairs nearly all fundraisers and has helped raise thousands of dollars for local Republicans in East Fishkill.

John Hickman is a dedicated Republican, born and raised in East Fishkill he is a graduate of Marist College. John became involved with the Republican Party at a young age and has served as Vice-President and President of the Republican Club and he wrote the local Republican Newsletter for eight years. In 1993 John joined the East Fishkill Republican Committee and has served as Vice Chairman and then Chairman of the Committee, a position that he gave up when he was elected to the Office of Town Supervisor. John has represented many districts during his tenure, most recently District 15. John is married to his wife of twenty-one years, JoAnn, and has served as East Fishkill Town Supervisor since 2006, a position he holds today.

JOANN HICKMAN

JoAnn is a dedicated volunteer to the East Fishkill community. As Director of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Dutchess County, JoAnn recognizes the wisdom of retirees and places them where they are most helpful in the community. She is currently on the board of Julie’s Jungle, a non-profit that will build a playground at the Lime Kiln recreation facility for children of all needs. JoAnn was asked by Senator Sue Serino to sit on her newly formed Aging Council Board which will examine the needs of the senior population in the Senator’s district. A member of the Club and Committee since the mid 90’s, JoAnn’s unselfish work for others makes her a shining example of what makes East Fishkill great.

Nick has lived in East Fishkill since he was 2 years old. The small business owner of Nick’s Brick Oven Pizza and Pasta for over 18 years, and Town Councilman for the past 4 years, Nick understands the importance of responsive government. Through Conservative/Republican ideals, Nick has helped ease the tax burden on residents through cost cutting through responsible government. Nick and his wife Judy volunteer at St. Columba Church, American Red Cross, Dutchess County Tourism, Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. Nick was the recipient of Dutchess County’s prestigious 40 under 40 Award, where he was recognized for all his volunteer work. A tireless worker in the Republican Committee and community, Nick has helped raise thousands of dollars for local and county candidates and is a shining example of what makes East Fishkill great.

A member of Election District 17 since 1978, Carol knows the people and the community very well. Carol has been a dedicated member of the East Fishkill Committee since 2003 and has worked hard for local and county Republican candidates. She was elected Town Clerk in 2008 and serves the people of East Fishkill each and every day with the utmost professionalism. Carol’s work ethic is an example of why East Fishkill is such a responsive government to the people. Always at fundraising events, Carol an important member not only to the Committee, but also to the community of East Fishkill.
